The Eastern part of this square was excavated in CH82 as CQ, skewed to the site main grid. The Eastern 6m was then re-opened in CH83 on the main grid. The main feature of this cutting was a well preserved post-Roman house, large slabs overlying a drainage gully packed with finds, and a central hearth.
