This square, at the break of slope to the North of the Sacred Circle, included the top end of the gully or sunken way coming up from below (North). This formed the Northern entrance to the Neolithic continuous ditch enclosure. It also appeared to be respected by a gap in the ditch uncovered in V93/V94 to the East.
