One of the key cuttings for understanding the Neolithic on the site. This was the site of the entrance passage for the continuous ditch enclosure (the ditch is in K1) - Plan 3 shows the bank and entrance. Underneath the bank, the ditches of the earlier causewayed enclosure were uncovered - see Plan 5.
