A huge Iron Age four-poster Structure C20 dominates the centre of this square, offset at 45 degrees to our site grid. The NE and SW of the cutting are disturbed areas of gull - where the bedrock because soft and grainy, potentially preserving more fragile features like holes for stake fences.
