Original
This transect picked up both the line of the inner causewayed ditches from L1 and the continuous ditch in the steep part. The rock face seems to have been part of the defences. In the flat top area , sealed under the early Neolithic bank, was the so-called Banana Barrow - amongst the earliest features on the site, maybe late Mesolithic.
