During the late 1980’s a video was produced to show the archaeology of the site and explain it to visitors. It played for many years in the Visitor Centre on the site, now the cafe. It is presented by Richard Savage, Assistant Director and Trustee.

Our understanding of some parts of the site has moved on a bit since this was made, but the essential story is unchanged and it provides a good introduction to what our ancestors were up to.

Its total length is about 17 minutes, but for ease of viewing it has been split into four segments, covering each of the main phases on the site.
